Sperm and egg donation is a voluntary, charitable, and anonymous act whose finality is that a healthy man or woman donates his or her gametes to a couple, man or woman, who has not achieved pregnancy. The psychophysical state of our candidates is evaluated using a study protocol that analyzes physical, genetic, and psychological characteristics that are determinant to demonstrate, as far as possible, that they do not suffer from diseases transmissible to the offspring.

One of the most important studies is the detection of recessive diseases in both donors and parents. This exam checks that the father or mother does not share the same mutation of the same gene with the donor, thus decreasing the risk of transmitting a genetic condition to the future baby.

In addition to allowing a constant availability of fresh, frozen, or vitrified gametes for use in fertilization treatments, we also offer our patients the possibility to choose their donors according to their specific phenotypic characteristics. The use of these gametes in the different therapies has positioned our center as one of the most successful in its assisted reproduction techniques, with pregnancy percentages between 60% per cycle.
