In the surrogacy process, the surrogate plays a fundamental role as the carrier of the dreams of many others. In surrogacy, there’s no genetic connection between the surrogate and the baby since we use eggs and sperm from the intended parents or donors. The surrogates are the ones who, through this generous act of love and altruism, allow those who hope to form a family to experience the joy of parenthood.
Everything begins with the surrogate's assignment to the intended parents; this is the first step, formalizing the parents' commitment and establishing their desire to expand their families via surrogacy. This is followed by a psychological consultation for both the intended parents and the surrogate to ensure that all parties are emotionally prepared to assume the process.
The next day, from the beginning of the surrogate's menstrual cycle, a medical consultation is conducted to establish the protocol for preparing for the embryo transfer; this is where the administration of medications and a series of endometrial ultrasound scans begin. This is done to optimize the uterine environment and favor the process.
Once a successful endometrial stimulation has been done, the embryo transfer is scheduled, and 10 days later, the pregnancy test (beta) is taken.
Surrogacy is an act of love that profoundly impacts others' lives. By being a surrogate, you can contribute to and help intended parents make their dreams of parenthood come true. This extraordinary role changes lives, allows surrogates to experience the joy of helping, and lets them receive support and acknowledgment for their valuable contribution.
Our surrogates leave a deep imprint of love that transforms lives forever.
